For many in India especially villages, merely putting food on the table for the family is a struggle. Due to high inflation and low wages many poor cannot afford basic food items such as wheat, rice and vegetables. Things get worse when crops get spoiled due to event of nature such as rain or drought.
Basic food, shelter and education is right of everyone. It will be great if we can provide basic ration for families who cannot afford. Demand is high and our resources are strained so we provide food hampers during Ramadan only.

Here is what a typical food hamper contains with cost estimates:

  • Wheat 20 kg - $100
  • Rice 10 kg - $200
  • Dried fruits 10 kg - - $200
  • Meat 5 kg - - $50
