About CHAMPS

Our world constantly demands innovative, intelligent, and creative initiatives that may foster and nurture young talent. Tauheedul Muslimeen Trust (TMT) recognized this need and, with a vision to empower the youth of today for a brighter tomorrow, launched the CHAMPS program. It is a test which aims at testing, evaluating, improving & nurturing basic understandability of the subject and IQ level, and making students of Primary and secondary level, familiar with competition which they are expected to face after their ISC/12th standard exam. As well as advising and counseling for their further studies – academic and professional keeping in view their future employability, by analyzing their knowledge, interest, resources, time and other factors. The CHAMPS is a unique talent search initiative aimed at encouraging and supporting young minds of Uttar Pradesh.

The CHAMPS talent search test is organized annually for students of class IV to XI in different schools / colleges of the State of UP with a view to facilitate their self-evaluation and enabling them to know as to where they stand. In Champs 2023 about 4800 students of different classes appeared. It was conducted at 20 different districts of U.P. In 2024 it was conducted at 30 centres with a participation of 6500 students.

CHAPMS 2025 will be conducted at about 35 centres and we expect the participation of more than 10,000 students.

The CHAMPS Mission

The mission of CHAMPS is to promote quality education among all students, especially those from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, and to support them in realizing their potential and better employment, by recognizing and encouraging their talents.

On the basis of performance of this test we offer scholarships to students belonging to financially weaker section of the society as well as preference in admission to M U College, Aligarh (A residential College run by TMT In Aligarh). Also this program aims at providing counseling, facilitating and mentoring. CHAMPS is not just another initiative but a lifeline for many young minds. It embodies the belief that talent knows no boundaries, and with the right support, and efforts in right direction, every student can scale great heights. CHAMPS is a testament to the commitment of TMT of shaping future through quality education and empowerment.

Categories and Awards


CHAMPS is designed to cater to students across four different categories, ensuring that talent is recognized and encouraged by rewarding at various stages of a student's academic journey:


  • Category A: Class IV & V
  • Category B: Classes VI & VII
  • Category C: Class VIII & IX
  • Category D: Classes X & XI

Important Date and Centers

Test is organized every year preferably in the month of APRIL.

This year the CHAMPS talent search test is scheduled on 13th April 2025 and the results will be declared by the second week of May 2025.

The test will be conducted at various centers across different cities in Uttar Pradesh, making it accessible to students from different regions.

Some of the centers include schools, colleges and educational institutions in cities like Aligarh, Allahabad, Kanpur, Lucknow and many more.

Eligibility and General Rules

To participate in CHAMPS, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:


1. Candidates should be bonafide students of recognized schools in India for the current session. 2. They should be in classes between 4th to 11th during the same session.

The students must read the following rules:


1. The candidates are advised to check the name and address of their exam centers on the website in the first week of April 2025. 2. The candidates are required to report at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the start time of the examination with Admit Cards. 3. No entry in the examination will be allowed without Admit Card. 4. Any electronic gadgets, including cell phones, smart watches and calculators are prohibited. 5. Any violation of rules or use of unfair means during the examination will result into the cancellation of the candidature.

About the Test


The test will consist of multiple-choice type questions. Categories A and B test will be of 90 minutes duration and it will consist of questions on General Science, Math, and English Language. Categories C test will be of duration two and half hour and it will consist of questions on General Science, Math, English Language and Aptitude. Categories D test will be of three hours duration and it will consist of questions on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology, English Language and Aptitude.

Syllabus


There is no well-defined syllabus of the tests. All questions in each category are designed to test the basic understanding of the subjects, critical thinking and problem solving technique and logical ability of the candidate. Therefore, the candidates are advised to learn the topics covered in the syllabi of their classes only.

Test Result

Examination Center Regulations

To ensure the smooth conduct of the test, candidates are required to arrive at their Test Centres and take their seats at least 15 minutes before the exam starts.

Admit cards are mandatory for verification of identity and electronic gadgets, including cell phones, smart watches and calculators, are prohibited. Students need not bring any stationery materials, and the use of unfair means is strictly forbidden.

Students must bring a blue/black ball point pen with them.
