The Tauheedul Muslimeen Trust (TMT) has taken on the important task of bridging the gap between the generous donors and the needy beneficiaries through its Education Aid Program. This aid is provided on a merit- cum-means basis to students ranging from primary school to higher professional education. A rigorous screening and review process ensures that only genuine cases are funded and the integrity of the program is maintained.

Funds are disbursed directly to the educational institutions where the beneficiaries are enrolled to prevent any misuse. The Trust also provides ongoing support and guidance to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve excellence in their studies. By investing in education, TMT aims to break the cycle of poverty and empower youth to build a better future for themselves and their communities. The Trust is committed to helping more young people realize their dreams and achieve academic success.

It all began in 2011-12, when scholarships were awarded to around 2,100 students, 135 of whom went on to study engineering, 85 to study management and 40 to study medicine. TMT has been awarding scholarships to students ever since.

Highlights of the program

    The team of TMT Evaluate the Student on the basis of :

  • More than 20000 Academic Scholarships provided.
  • More than 2500 Professional Scholarships provided.
  • This program awards scholarships to students studying in schools, colleges and even vocational courses that are good for careers.
  • There is a collaboration with a few Professional Education Institutes of Lucknow and a discounted fee package is offered to students selected for scholarships by TMT.
  • This Program sponsors students for Higher Education in International college also, depending on the Evaluation process by TMT.
  • Students Applying for Scholarship must have a minimum of 60% in past Academics records.
  • The Admission in Professional Courses is prioritized through centralized or college-based Entrance Test.
  • The Colleges must be affiliated through a governing body.
  • Scholarship is given on the basis of the current financial condition and it is reviewed every year before re applying.
  • The scholarship program is not limited to just one region in India.
  • Many students who have received a scholarship from this program are now employed in a good position.
  • No discrimination is done on the basis of gender, caste or religion. If a Child is good in studies, Scholarship is provided depending on clearing the TMT criteria.
  • Either Full or Partial Scholarships are provided depending on the financial Conditions of the family.

Quality Check of the Program

  • 1. Evaluation of Past Academic Performance of the New Applicant
  • 2. Financial Evaluation of the applicant family resources

    • - The Field representatives of TMT prepare a report on the social and financial situation of the applicant.

  • 3. Evaluation of Professional Course & the Institute

    • - Admission through accredited Common Entrance / Selection test or by payment of Capitation Fee.

    - The market acceptance of the course.

    - Ranking of Institute based on - Ownership is Private or Government; Faculty; Infrastructure; Placement History and reputation in job market)

  • 4. The funds are released directly to the account of the institutions where the admission has been taken.
  • 5. Re-evaluation of the existing Applicant is done when the funds are required for next year.
