Free Education Program for Underprivileged Children

Launched in 1999, the Unity Education Program (UEP) aims to provide free education to children from underprivileged families and communities, covering school fees, uniforms, stationery, transportation, medical care and rehabilitation assistance.

The mission of UEP is to impart knowledge and make students employable, while also fostering the growth of responsible, well-rounded, lifelong learners who can positively contribute to society. Over the past 10 years, approximately 1000 new students have enrolled in this program each year. UEP operates in 25 English medium schools and colleges affiliated to the State Board, ICSE Board and CBSE Board spread across 11 villages, towns and cities in Uttar Pradesh. Unity College Second Shift is a part of this program.

  • More than 20000 individuals benefitted by this program.
  • Meritorious students have been qualifying for MBBS, B.Tech and other important graduation courses.
  • Many students after passing class 12, look forward for higher education to make their world a better one.
  • Along with Free Education, UEP program also supports students with medical treatments and regular health checkups.
  • Free Eye checkups and dental checkups are done on periodic basis.
  • Monthly Food Aid is also provided to those families who cannot afford it.
  • Water Facilities like Tata Swachh is installed in the houses of the students where it is needed.
  • Complete support is provided to Orphans.
  • All the schools have ideal infrastructure and provide the students with all the facilities, like well-ventilated and spacious classrooms, furniture, labs, library, medical room, sports and care about sanitation and hygiene.
  • All the teachers are trained and experienced with good subject knowledge.
  • A number of co-curricular activities are conducted by the schools throughout the year. It makes the student’s active, smart, responsible, creative and inculcates team spirit in them.
  • The students from classes IX - XII are counselled to explore their skills and strength. They are introduced with different careers so that they could have more options to choose from.
  • During the visits, meetings are held with the parents and workshops are also conducted for them in which they are explained the importance of education, nutrition, health and hygiene, parents’ role and responsibilities as parents, why and how to give a healthy environment to the children, etc.
  • Educational Tours are organized for students to places like historical buildings, museums, botanical gardens, science museums, etc. It is both a fun and knowledgeable experience.
