Unity Private Industrial Training Institute
Founded in 1995-96, Unity Pvt. Industrial Training Institute (Unity Pvt. ITI) functions in a 30-room setup on the campus of Unity College to provide diverse vocational training courses to youth to support employability. There is a continuous focus on improving the quality of training delivered in order to reflect the changing industrial trends while at the same time adhere to government guidelines. Initiatives in the pipeline include the construction of a new building exclusively for Unity Pvt.
ITI purchase of equipment as per latest Quality Council of India (QCI) standards, working at grassroot level to counsel youth to opt for vocational courses as a path towards employability and the establishment of a dedicated placement cell. The institute has 250 trainee enrollments in National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) affiliated trades and 200 in short-term courses.
